Myla
ENGLEWOOD — The Suncoast Humane Societ Pet of the week is Myla, a 58-pound American Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix.
She is a happy-go-lucky girl who is in need of a permanent home. She is 5 years old, but you would think she is still a puppy with all the energy and playfulness she maintains.
Myla loves other dogs. She also loves to swim and would enjoy spending a lot of time at the beach or in a backyard pool. If you are in need of a great energetic companion to exercise with, Myla is the girl for you.

Chillie is the Suncoast Humane Society Pet of the Week.
ENGLEWOOD – Chillie, an 8½-year-old domestic shorthair cat, is the Suncoast Humane Society Pet of the Week.
Chillie is an independent cat but is very friendly and looking for a new home after living in the same home his entire life. He has lived with other cats and even a dog, and they all got along great.

ENGLEWOOD — Murphy, a handsome 56-pound Border Collie/Beagle mix, is this week’s Suncoast Humane Society Pet of the Week.
He is the perfect gentleman and very well loved in his previous home. He is housebroken and crate trained. He will need regular brushing to keep his coat beautiful and he loves treats.

ENGLEWOOD – A couple of recent graduates are being highlighted this week as Suncoast Humane Society’s Pets of the Week.
Rose and Brandy spent the past six weeks in a training program called the Cell Dog Program in cooperation with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department.

Buddy
ENGLEWOOD – Buddy, a handsome, 2½-year-old, 60-pound hound mix, is the Suncoast Humane Society’s Pet of the Week.
Buddy is great with kids and loves other animals, according to the SHS press release. He started out his life as an outdoor dog, so adjusting to living inside may take a bit of patience and love.

Belle
ENGLEWOOD — Belle, a 5-year-old domestic shorthair cat weighing 12 pounds, is the Suncoast Humane Society’s Pet of the Week.
Belle has long white whiskers and a cute, round face. She is a bit on the chubby side, and loves her big belly to be rubbed. She is a somewhat independent cat who may not like to be picked up but will enjoy being petted.

Huck
ENGLEWOOD — Huck, the Suncoast Humane Society Pet of the Week, is an 11-year-old Husky Mix weighing 30 pounds. He has a handsome, fluffy coat that will need regular brushing, and brilliant eyes – one brown and one blue.
You would never guess that Huck is a canine senior citizen. He has the playful spirit of a pup. Huck is full of enthusiasm for people and has enjoyed living with another dog. He likes to jump and dance around on his hind legs with a big smile on his face.

Ty is the Pet of the Week
ENGLEWOOD – This week’s Suncoast Humane Society Pet of the Week is Ty, a 4-year-old female cat who has an adorable bobbed tail. She is friendly and very affectionate.
Ty has been awaiting her forever home for quite some time. She loves the company of other cats and enjoys curling up in a ball for a cat nap.
