Placida boat ramp to close for repairs

Placida Boat Ramp clos­ing for repairs Sept. 19 – Oct. 13

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 24, 2017) – The Placida Boat Ramp will be clos­ing Sept. 19 through Oct. 13 for boat ramp repairs and pil­ing replace­ment on the fin­ger piers. The boat ramp is located at Placida Park, 6499 Boca Grande Cause­way in Placida. 

 Dur­ing this clo­sure, boaters can use the boat ramps at Bay Heights Park, 1000 S. McCall Road, Engle­wood or Indian Mounds Park, 210 Win­son Avenue, Engle­wood. Smaller water­craft also may use Ainger Creek Park, 2011 Placida Road, Engle­wood.
