SARASOTA, Fla. - Sylvia Sue Charles, 73, has been found and is safe, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.
The announcement came at 7:19 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30. No further details were relayed.
SSCO on Friday announced a Silver Alert for Charles, who, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), suffers from Dementia and Alzheimers Disease. CCSO said on Thursday that the last time she had been seen was at 10 a.m. Thursday on Placida Road, but on Friday SSCO said she’d been seen Thursday afternoon in Sarasota.
Sylvia Sue Charles, 73, is missing, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
Charles, who suffers from Dementia and Alzheimers Disease, was last seen at 10 a.m. Thursday on Placida Road, police said. She has no cellphone, medications or money.
Charles is 5-feet 6-inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes, according to CCSO. She was wearing a dark jacket and a dark longer skirt. She may be operating a 2005 Lexus, color white with gold trim bearing Florida registration WFV538.
