Englewood motorcycle driver hurt in crash

FHP logoAn Engle­wood man was seri­ously injured Sat­ur­day evening when he was ejected from his motor­cy­cle on North Indi­ana Ave., accord­ing to the Florida High­way Patrol.

Robert Joseph Peteski, 54, was head­ing south in the out­side lane when an unknown vehi­cle exited the Tower shop­ping plaza, forc­ing Peteski to swerve, the report writ­ten by Trooper Ramon Baez states. Peteski was ejected from the motor­cy­cle and fell on its left side at about 8:57 p.m. He was taken to Sara­sota Memo­r­ial Hos­pi­tal with seri­ous injuries.

This was near the inter­sec­tion of Fox­wood Boulevard.

Any­one who has infor­ma­tion about the unknown vehi­cle can call Florida High­way Patrol at 239−938−1800. The report did not describe the vehicle.
