Englewood Water District will announce when the water is safe to drink without boiling.

Update: The Englewood Water District’s Precautionary Boil Water Notice for all of Willow Avenue from Placida Road to Tenth Street is hereby rescinded. All repairs to the water main are complete and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. – The Englewood Water District has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice because of a water main break in Grove City.

The notice applies to residents on all of Willow Avenue from Placida Road to Tenth Street.

All water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient or as an alternative, bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

If you have any questions, you may contact the Englewood Water District’s Water Distribution Manager, Wayne Kershanick at 474‑3217.
