ENGLEWOOD, Fla. – Keep your home look­ing spiffy by tak­ing part in the Engle­wood Com­mu­nity Cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon Sat­ur­day, April 2. Sara­sota County will help col­lect your dis­carded house­hold items, yard waste, tree trim­mings, junk and other garbage or refuse.

Trash bins will be provided.

Free trash bins will be avail­able for your con­ve­nience at the fol­low­ing locations:

•    West Dear­born Street and South McCall Road (South­west cor­ner).
•    South Tami­ami Trail and River Road (park­ing lot).
•    Old Engle­wood Road and Buchan Airport.

Sara­sota County haz­ardous waste per­son­nel will be avail­able only at the West Dear­born Street and South McCall Road loca­tion to accept haz­ardous mate­ri­als, elec­tron­ics, tele­vi­sions and com­put­ers from res­i­den­tial customers.

Haz­ardous waste can be taken to 8750 Bee Ridge Road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednes­day through Saturday.
