A cel­e­bra­tion of Elizabeth’s life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sun­day, March 20.

Eliz­a­beth Ann Ober­lin, 54, of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away Tues­day, March 15, 2016, at Engle­wood Com­mu­nity Hos­pi­tal in Engle­wood, Fla.

Born April 16, 1961, in Bal­ti­more, Md., to the late John and Loretta Buck­ing­ham Sr., she had been a res­i­dent of Char­lotte County for 30 years since com­ing from For­rest Hill, Md.

A lov­ing wife, mother and home­maker for her fam­ily, she was the office man­ager for Gas­par­illa Land­scape in Boca Grande.

Sur­vivors include her lov­ing and devoted hus­band of 30 years, Lind­say R. Ober­lin of Rotonda West, Fla.; a son, Derek Armiger, and a daugh­ter, Kar­isha Ober­lin, both of Port Char­lotte, Fla.; a sis­ter, Tracy (Fran) Buck­ing­ham of For­rest Hill, Md.; a brother, John (Angel) Buck­ing­ham Jr. of Bal­ti­more, Md.; a step-sister, Sandy Messer­schmidt of Brook­lyn, Md.; three grand­chil­dren: Gage and Gemma Armiger and Mila Faith DePaola; and beloved dog, Dixie.
