CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – The 2016 Charlotte County Government Academy is a series of four half-day workshops scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 5 p.m. April 13 and 14. The workshops will be held in locations throughout the county. Participants should commit to both days of workshops.
Charlotte County Government Academy is recommended to anyone that wants to know more about local government. The primary goal of the program is to provide the opportunity to share and learn about the various departments under the Board of County Commissioners. Enrollment is open to residents with a Charlotte County address.
Registration forms for this free program are available in various county buildings including libraries, the County Administration Center in Murdock, and online at www.CharlotteCountyFL.gov in the Hot Topics list. Forms must be received by 5 p.m. March 31. For more information or to request a registration form, call the Public Information Office at 941−623−1092.
