ENGLEWOOD, Fla. – The Englewood Camera Club is sponsoring the Lemon Bay Photo Contest, which runs for four weeks starting Jan. 11, with the winners announced at the Lemon Bay festival on  Feb 13.

Anyone can enter. The contest is free, open to anyone and completely digital.

This year’s contest breaks the competition into two categories – novice and advanced. Photographers must self-rate themselves. To enter, go to lemonbayfest.com.

Rules for Lemon Bay Festival Photo Contest

The purpose of the Lemon Bay Photo Contest is to provide a vehicle for sharing the beauty of Florida and Englewood through photography.

There are no special categories.  Only images that are totally the work of the individual photographer may be submitted. Work that is not completely your own is not allowed. All images must have been taken in Florida.

•    Class “B” Novice, includes all competitors who voluntarily rate themselves as B. If the photographer receives recognition, as a finalist or a winner, the photographer must upgrade her or his entry standing in the following year. Please rate yourself fairly.
