Ser­vices will be private

Theresa Rita Padula Poles, 91, of Engle­wood, Fla., died Tues­day, June 2, 2015, at Tidewell Hos­pice in Port Charlotte.

Born on Feb. 8, 1924, in Franklin, Mass­a­chu­setts to the late Angelo and Pauline (Rufrano) Padula, she had been a res­i­dent of Char­lotte County for 45 years since com­ing from Franklin, Mass.  She was a lov­ing wife, mother and home­maker for her fam­ily and a com­mu­ni­cant of St. Fran­cis of Assisi Parish in Grove City.

Sur­vivors include a son, Edward Fran­cis (Cherie) Poles; a sis­ter, Mar­garet Dias; three broth­ers: Charles (Maryellen), James (Linda) and John Padula; two grand­sons: Michael (Jen­nifer) Poles and Edward Fran­cis Poles Jr.; two sisters-in-law: Jean­nette and Made­line Padula; and many nieces and nephews.

Ser­vices will be pri­vate, with inurn­ment in St. Mary’s Ceme­tery in Wren­tham, Mass.
