Ceceila V. Meeker died Fri­day, Feb. 13.

Cecelia Veron­ica Meeker, 94, of Port Char­lotte, Fla., and for­merly of Con­cord, N.C., and Suc­ca­sunna, N.J., died, Fri­day, Feb. 13, 2015, at Tidewell Hos­pice House in Englewood.

She was born Oct. 6, 1920. in Whar­ton, N.J., and was the daugh­ter of Grace Cecelia and Fran­cis Joseph Conway.

Mrs. Meeker was a mem­ber of the St. Dunstan’s Epis­co­pal Church, Suc­ca­sunna, N.J., where she served on the Altar Guild and was a mem­ber of the Epis­co­pal Women’s Group. Cecelia was also a Brownie Scout leader.

She was pre­ceded in death by her beloved hus­band of 69 years Leroy Ken­neth Meeker in 2010 and a brother John J. Conway.

Sur­vivors include her three daugh­ters: Cecelia Veron­ica “Ron­nie” and her hus­band Stephen Hon­ick­man of Punta Gorda; Judith and her hus­band Carmine Rossi of Port Char­lotte; Jane Eliz­a­beth and her hus­band James Nor­ris of Con­cord, N.C.; three sis­ters: Marie Bishop, Joan Gruc­haz, and Grace Chiarella; two broth­ers: William Con­way and Richard Con­way; nine grand­chil­dren and 14 great grandchildren.

A memo­r­ial ser­vice will be held in New Jer­sey at a later date.
