Gary Douglas Damron, 54

Gary Dou­glas Dam­ron, 54, of Engle­wood passed away qui­etly Wednes­day, June 27, 2012, at Engle­wood Health Care and Reha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­ter with his lov­ing mother at his side.

Born April 28, 1958, in Wyan­dotte, Mich., to Ralph Dam­ron and Cather­ine Jus­tice, he had been a res­i­dent of Char­lotte County for 14 years, com­ing from Hous­ton, Texas.

Gary was a sea­farer for many years and was employed in sev­eral dif­fer­ent fields dur­ing his life. He is pre-deceased by his father, two broth­ers and two sisters.

Sur­vivors include his son, Jason Dam­ron, of Lin­coln Park, Mich.; mother and step-father: Cather­ine and Joe Hoak of Engle­wood; and two sis­ters, Bev­erly (Richard) Cook of Wood­haven, Mich., and Tam­mie Pilkins of Englewood.

Arrange­ments were by the Engle­wood Com­mu­nity Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road.
