Kay Heisner, 70

Kay Heis­ner, 70, of Gulf Cove, passed away Mon­day, Nov. 14, 2011, at Faw­cett Memo­r­ial Hospital.

Born on April 24, 1941, in Mon­ti­cello, Ind., she had been a res­i­dent of Char­lotte County for 11 years since com­ing from Buf­falo, Ind. A lov­ing wife and home­maker for her fam­ily, she was a mem­ber of the Engle­wood Orchid Soci­ety, the Gulf Cove Fish­ing Club, the Engle­wood Area and Port Char­lotte Com­puter Clubs.

Sur­vivors include her lov­ing hus­band, Neil Heis­ner; a daugh­ter, Tina Fry­bort of Buf­falo, Ind.; a step­son, Reid Heis­ner of Star City, Ind.; two step­daugh­ters, Jill Piper of Newaygo, Mich., and Cari Heis­ner of San Mar­cos, Calif.; a sis­ter, Shirley Brewer of Moses Lake, Wash.; and two grandchildren.

A memo­r­ial ser­vice will be held at a later date.
