Acting classes not help a child to grow artistically, but often develop life skills that can transfer to other areas of their lives as well. We love working with our kids and work hard at creating an environment where each feels safe to create and explore. Our instructor, Bobbi McMillin, has had several years of experience in children’s theatre workshop. Not only will the children learn about theatre but fun theatre games will help them to think for themselves, have confidence and improve memory.
Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon, with class size set at a maximum of 10 students ranging in age from 7 to 11. The total cost for all five classes is $50. Registration forms must be turned in by Sept. 25 so register early to be assured of a spot. Forms are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays at the Lemon Bay Playhouse Box Office, 96 W Dearborn Street.
For more information call the theatre at 941−475−6756 or Bobbi McMillin at 941−697−9573.
