Wanna be a rock star? Performing Arts Academy plans workshop
Lemon Bay Performing Arts Academy invites children in grades three through eight to attend the free “So You Wanna Be a Rock Star” workshop Saturday, Sept. 18.
The workshop is limited to the first 100 applicants. Rockstar trainees must be currently enrolled in third through eighth grade.

Rockstar trainees will be split into age groups and rotate in groups to sing, dance and learn how to perform, walk and speak with confidence in Rockstar 101.
Rockstar trainees will also learn auditioning skills in preparation for Englewood Elite auditions to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, to be a part of Englewood’s own traveling troupe of Rockstar performers. Sing, dance, learn to play instruments and perform at gigs around the state.
