County plans public workshop for J.M. Berlin/Rotary Skate Park

With no one on site to super­vise, many of the rules are flouted.

The Char­lotte County Board of County Com­mis­sion­ers and the Com­mu­nity Ser­vices Depart­ment will hold a pub­lic work­shop at 6 p.m. Wednes­day, Sept. 1, at the Oys­ter Creek Regional Park Pic­nic Pavilion.

Skaters, par­ents and guardians, con­cerned cit­i­zens and busi­nesses are invited to dis­cuss the oper­a­tion of the skate park with the goal of iden­ti­fy­ing solu­tions to the chal­lenges that are being faced there.
