Divorce support group and seminar planned at church

Engle­wood United Methodist Church will offer a divorce sup­port group from Sept. 9 through Dec. 9.

Dr. Con­nie Ellis will facil­i­tate a Divorce Care pro­gram start­ing in Sep­tem­ber at the Engle­wood United Methodist Church.

Divorce Care is a weekly sup­port group and sem­i­nar con­ducted by peo­ple who under­stand what par­tic­i­pants are expe­ri­enc­ing. Atten­dees will  learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look for­ward to rebuild­ing their lives. Each ses­sion is self-contained, so, although peo­ple are encour­age  to attend every week, they are wel­come to start any week.

The cost of the book is $12.

The group will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs­days from Sept. 9 to Dec. 9 at the church, 700 E. Dear­born St.
