Two new members were inducted July 20 at the dinner meeting of the Business and Professional Women of Englewood and Venice at Boca Royale Country Club.
Joining the organization were Kathleen Kessler and Sue Lang.

Featured speaker and Cardiologist Dr. Ki Hassler spoke about women’s health issues.
BPW Englewood and Venice members gather for a dinner meeting the third Tuesday evening of every month at Boca Royale Country Club. Reservations are required and can be made by visiting the website at http://www.bpwev.org. The next meeting will be Aug. 17. The speaker will be Sara Hand, who will speak on the topic of “Women for such a time as this.”
The Business and Professional Women’s organization was founded in 1919 and is a grass-roots, non-partisan organization whose mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. The local organization was started in 1960 and will be celebrating its 50th anniversary at a dinner meeting on Oct. 23. Membership to this organization is open to anyone (both genders) who supports its mission.
