Church still need food donations, school supplies

The Clothes for the Needy Pro­gram at Engle­wood East Church of Christ would like to say “Thank You and God Bless” to every­one who came through with the over­whelm­ing bless­ing of clothes dona­tions dur­ing its drive.

There are no more clothes needed, and the church has run out of room to keep and store them.

How­ever, the Hand­fuls of Pur­pose Food pantry is in need of non-perishable food and school sup­plies for the upcom­ing school year.

The church plans to dis­trib­ute these sup­plies  from 10 a.m. to noon at the Aug. 21 food distribution.

All dona­tions may be dropped off Mon­day through Sat­ur­day at the church, 9600 Gulf­stream Blvd.
