Detectives seek help finding bank heist suspect

A bank rob­bery sus­pect is caught on a secu­rity camera.

Char­lotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit detec­tives released two sur­veil­lance pho­tos of the armed rob­bery sus­pect that held up RBC Cen­tura Bank, 24123 Peach­land Blvd., about 10:45 a.m. Wednes­day morning.

A sus­pected bank rob­ber is caught on a secu­rity camera.

Detec­tives are look­ing for the sus­pect, a black man, 6 feet tall, scruffy beard, black pants with a red stripe, black jacket, gloves, green hat with white emblem and white shoes. He was seen car­ry­ing a dark green back­pack as shown in the sur­veil­lance photos.

MCU detec­tives are ask­ing the pub­lic for any infor­ma­tion about this bank rob­ber sus­pect to please call the CCSO Major Crimes Unit at 941−639−2101, or Crime Stop­pers at 800–780-TIPS (8477).
