Look­ing for a new pet? Does a sweet, cud­dly, calm cat sound like your ideal companion?

Cleo may be your girl.

Cleo is a one 1-year-old, long-haired feline – she likely has some Maine Coon in her – with an incred­i­bly mild personality.

Cleo is a lit­tle shy toward peo­ple at first. She’ll sta­tion her­self in a lit­tle cor­ner and watch you for awhile, but, even­tu­ally, she’ll get used to a new person’s pres­ence and come out to say hello and ask for atten­tion. Vol­un­teers at PawZazz for Pets notice that she likes to stay out of the main action of the room, but she will come to peo­ple and act very friendly. She loves get­ting pets, and purrs immensely (she’s like a lit­tle thun­der­storm!). Cleo is a very placid, even-tempered cat, but she is happy when she makes friends with some­one and gets lots of love.

Cleo tries to stay out of the way of other cats. Often, when other cats are play­ing, Cleo will mark out a spot in the room and remain there, not get­ting involved with lit­tle fights or games in which the ther cats are engag­ing. Cleo doesn’t like cat drama. If one comes around and inves­ti­gates her she will let them and won’t be aggres­sive, but she will hiss if a lit­tle kit­ten is get­ting in her face to warn it that she’s becom­ing a lit­tle annoyed.

Cleo would do well in any sort of home, so long as it’s fairly quiet and she has a lit­tle area that she can hang out in by herself.
