Reba is EARS Pet of the Week

Look­ing for a cat with a sweet, adven­tur­ous personality?

Meet Reba!

This 1-year-old green-eyed tabby was brought to EARS with four kit­tens, which will also be up for adop­tion soon.

Reba is a very calm and friendly feline who resem­bles a Bush Baby mon­key! She likes climb­ing up the patio cage at the PawZazz play­room and perch­ing on the wood beams to look out at Dear­born and the rush­ing cars and peo­ple. She loves the sun, and often sits in the warmest spot while the vol­un­teers are clean­ing the room. When she does come inside, Reba bats around the var­i­ous jin­gling plas­tic balls and cloth pil­lows that are spread across the room.

Reba loves peo­ple and is good with other cats.

This kitty adores peo­ple. She’s par­tial to sit­ting on your lap to take a lit­tle snooze when she gets tired or after she has eaten. There has never been a human that Reba hasn’t taken  to. She’s a very love­able character.

Reba is great with other cats. She doesn’t mind hav­ing oth­ers around her, but will defend her ter­ri­tory gen­tly if another cat is threat­en­ing. Because she had kit­tens, she’s very moth­erly toward the younger cats in the room and will treat them as if they are her own. Reba acts very mature around the other cats, and would do well either with a buddy or by her­self in her new home.
